Written exam

After you qualify from the preliminary section (primary medical test and viva) you will have to sit for the written exam. The written exam is based on the following subjects,

Bengali - 50 marks (time 1 hours)
English - 50 marks (time 1 hours)
General Math - 50 marks (time 1 hours)
General Knowledge - 50 marks (time 30 minutes)

pass number for each subject is 20. You will have to pass all the subjects to qualify. English is the most important subject. If someone passes getting 20 marks or near 20 is called poor marks. There will be no problem if someone passes getting 20 marks in Bengali, General Math and General knowledge or any of the subjects but if someone gets 20 in English there may be a problem of disqualification. So give more importance to English.

The General Knowledge is the most hard subject. You will have to spend a lot of time memorizing the answers. Currency, Historical places, Famous persons, Ranks of Army, Name of the seven Bir Shrestas, abbreviation, capitals, name of presidents or prime ministers are very important.

The General Math is from class 9-10 or SSC level. There will be one Geometry. If you want you can skip it.

In Bengali questions from the basic gramar like sondhi, somas, karok, prokrity o prottoy, ek kothay prokas, Bagdhara etc. letter or essay or paragraph ect.

There is no fixed syllabus for the written examination.
only common things are given above.

Primary Viva

Primary viva is the most easy part. But be careful, don't screw up everything. Don't be nervous. Just enjoy. Viva can be on any subject. About yourself, your family, the cause for choosing the army profession, the ranks of army etc. Sometimes questions can be from your text books.

On the day of your viva wear formal dress. Don't wear casual or dress that can make your personality low. A tie is not needed on this day. Brush your hair properly. While entering the viva room gently say "May I come in Sir?" or ask for the permission to enter and give Salam to the board members. Don't sit down without their permission, don't ask for their permission. They will give you permission to sit whenever the want to. Don't forget to thank the interviewers. Make sure you are sitting smartly and properly. Walking style should be normal and smart looking while entering/Coming out from the interview room. Never stop while you talk. Don't even stop while you cannot complete the answer (Fluency check). You must be good in spoken english. Be smart and decisive in your answer. If you dont know the answer clearly say that you dont know the answer. You must be confident and determined. Dont shake your hands and legs while talking, look straight in the askers eye. Before leaving give Salam and leave.
Good luck
